Just a reminder about Meet the Teacher Night for Kindergarten, Life Skills and Cub K TONIGHT!
In an effort to get our newest Hurricanes into the building we are going to hold Meet the Teacher Night for Life Skills, Cub K and Kindergarten on Monday, August 4, 2025 using the following schedule:
Life Skills Students: Monday, August 4, 2025 from 5:00-6:00.
Cub K Students: Monday, August 4, 2025 from 5:00-6:00
Kindergarten - Mrs. Harpring’s Class and Mrs. Lucas’s Class: Monday, August 4, 2025 from 5:15-6:15.
Kindergarten - Mrs.Weiler’s Class and Mrs. Johnson’s Class: Monday, August 4, 2025 from 6:30-7:30.
All families will enter through Door C1. I have attached a map for the entrance location. We will have staff assisting with parking and entrance and exit of the back parking lot. Due to the limited parking area, we ask that families stick to their scheduled time. Students will visit their classroom, drop of supplies, meet their teacher and complete necessary paperwork for the beginning of the year. We will also have staff available to answer questions regarding transportation.

Great news! The parking lot is not completed, but there is enough asphalt down for it to be drivable! Tonight, Monday, August 4 will be Meet the Teacher Night for Kindergarten, Life Skills and Cub K. We will hold Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, August 5 from 5:30-6:30 for grades 1-5. We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we work through the construction. We look forward to seeing Kindergarten, Life Skills and Cub K students and families TONIGHT and students and families of students in grades 1-5 TOMORROW night from 5:30-6:30.
Teacher Names are now posted on PowerSchool! If your student is in 3 Tilley, he/she will have Mrs. Wilson. She was a new hire and we don't have her in the system yet. Have a great weekend!

Good morning! Due to some unforeseen setbacks with the construction of the drive at Hendricks, we are going to have to postpone our Meet the Teacher Night originally scheduled for Monday, August 4, 2025 for grades 1-5.

Once we have a better picture of the timeline for the completion of the front drive, I will communicate the date and time for Meet the Teacher Night for grades 1-5. Life Skills, Kindergarten and Cub K families are more than welcome to come on this night as well to tour the building and gather information about our PTO, Boy/Girls Scout groups and pay Ipad protection fees, but Life Skills, Cub K and Kindergarten teachers will not be present for this second Meet the Teacher Night.
While this is an unexpected twist of events, we are doing our best to ensure a smooth start for all of our Hurricane families! We are making final preparations for the 25-26 school year! Teacher assignments will be available on PowerSchool on Friday, August 1 , 2025 by 5:00 pm. Meet the Teacher Night is Monday, August 4, 2025 from 5:30-6:30. If you have not yet completed your registration, that must be done by noon on Friday to ensure first day bus transportation!
